Teenage Girl Cuts Off Her Boyfriend's Manhood In Jigawa

Teenage Girl Cuts Off Her Boyfriend's Manhood In Jigawa

A teenage girl was saved by the Police from being lynched after she cut off the manhood of her boyfriend in a Jigawa community.

A 17-year-old girl, Ramatu Tafida, has cut off the manhood of her 25-year-old boy friend, Mr Abdullahi Sabo, in Jigawa, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence (NSCDC) has said.

AC Adamu Shehu, the corps Spokesman in the state, who confirmed this in Dutse on Saturday, said the incident occurred in Babura Local Government Area of the state.

Shehu said the victim, a resident of Kofar Gabas and a teacher at Government Girls Secondary School Babura engaged under N-Power.

“The incident occurred on Thursday in Babura when the attention of our officers was drawn by a good Samaritan who informed them that some youths were about to lynch a girl in Kofar Arewa, the residence of the suspect, to revenge for their friend.

“Immediately the officers swung into action and went to the scene and whisked the girl away to the office for safety, but they still followed her.

“It was upon reaching the office that we realised what led to the whole matter.

“Ramlatu confessed to have used a knife to cut off the manhood of her husband-to-be.

“According to her, Abdullahi is the love of her life and he was even introduced to her family members and has equally given the sum of N30,000 as an introduction fee.

“And because of that, she was free to be with him almost all the time. As a result they became too intimate that they engaged in sexualrelationship.

“However, Ramlatu later learnt that the victim has planned to dump her for another girl since he has already known her as a woman. And that was what made her to plan and execute her attack,”
 he said.

Sheu said that the suspect further confessed that it was while they were together and about to start their usual affair that she confronted the victim with the issue and he responded in the affirmative.

“And already, she had a knife with her without his knowledge which she brought out and chopped off his manhood.

“After committing the offence, she ran to her parent’s house to inform her mother. And It was while she was there that the youths stormed the house.

The spokesman said that after knowing the situation, the officers rushed to the scene and took the victim to Babura General Hospital for medical attention.

The victim was later referred to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital in Kano.

Sheu said that the suspect had already been charged to court and remanded in prison until Sept. 6 for further hearing.

2019: Why I may not support Gov. Udom for second term says Akpabio

2019: Why I may not support Gov. Udom for second term says Akpabio

A former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio, has given conditions under which he won't support incumbent Governor Udom Emmanuel for second term.
The Senator spoke at the annual get-together organized by the deputy governor, Chief Moses Ekpo.
Akpabio said he would support the governor for a second term if perceived current marginalization of his senatorial district was addressed.
He warned that the era of ‘carry-go’ politics was gone and charged the governor to brace up for the big task.
The former governor, who is widely believed to have installed the incumbent governor against all odds in 2015, pointed out that he would only endorse Emmanuel’s re-election and rally support for him if the policies and programmes of the administration were not discriminatory against Ikot Ekpene geo-political zone.
He said, “2018 is less than one year to election, all is not well, don’t allow anybody to deceive you that all is well. If the hotel in Ikot Ekpene rots after so much money had been expended on the project, would that be a good thing?
“That road from Uyo to Ikot Ekpene, is still the way it was. In the 2018 budget, what is the percentage for Ikot Ekpene senatorial district?”, Akpabio asked, and charged the governor to remove the wedge that stifles development in his zone or be prepared to face the consequences of such action in 2019.
“My job is to say the truth because if at this level I cannot say the truth, then I am not doing well. So please I want us to start the hotel because when the Commissioner for Works addressed the youths in August, he assured them that the hotel would be opened in December. Please let us check the budget to know what has been earmarked for that place. I am not interested in what I did and what I did not do, I am only interested in what I am going to do.

“The truth is that Godswill Akpabio expects us to set our path straight so that we can take one route. Even when you are going for communion, you must be in a state of grace, so let us have something from the senatorial district to use in talking about election; to use in convincing the people to stand by us. We are in opposition, we don’t have government, we don’t have Police, we don’t have INEC.”

Olamide Blatantly calls Buhari a fool, As He condemns APC and the President

The YBNL boss, Olamide, has joined the host of celebrities speaking up for the poor and unheard masses, not minding the possible aftermaths of speaking against a disguised dictatorship government to the point of calling Buhari a fool.

He criticized the government of the day on Twitter where he voiced his displeasure at the happenings in the country. In his posts, he highlighted the failures of the government in the areas of budgeting, policy-making, and implementation.

The death toll from Lagos State Tanker blast rises to 12 (Explosions) , Dozen Of Cars and Life Has Been Lost

Dozens of cars caught fire after a petrol tanker crashed and exploded on a gridlocked highway Dozens of cars caught fire after a petrol tanker crashed and exploded on a gridlocked highway The death toll from a petrol tanker fire and explosion on one of the busiest roads in Nigeria's commercial hub, Lagos, has risen to 12, the authorities say.

Nine people were initially said to have died and more than 50 vehicles were burned when a truck carrying 33,000 liters (8,700 US gallons) of petrol suffered brake failure and crashed last Thursday.
But the sheer size of the blaze and the fact that it occurred on a gridlocked road at rush hour have spurred fears that the toll could be higher.

Lagos state health commissioner Jide Idris told reporters on Monday the "completely burnt" bodies of 10 people, including a minor, were recovered from the scene.
Two others later died of severe burns in the hospital.

"The government (will) be conducting DNA forensic studies so that the right bodies can be handed over to the appropriate families for burial," he said.
The state government has said it is looking to prosecute the owner of the tanker and driver over the truck's roadworthiness.

Petrol tanker fires are not uncommon on Nigeria's roads, which are often in disrepair and where vehicles are frequently old and badly maintained.
Blocks are often put behind the wheels of aging, rusting trucks when they are stationary in traffic.

Enugu – The police in Enugu on Monday rescued Pa Michael Obi, the father of Super Eagles Captain, Mikel Obi, from kidnappers.

It was gathered that Pa Obi and his driver, one Ishaya John, were rescued unhurt from the hideout of the kidnappers at Egede Udi forest of Enugu State along old Egede-Affa Road, Enugu.

Pa Obi and his driver were kidnapped last Friday along Makurdi-Enugu Road on his way from Jos in his grey colored Toyota Prado jeep with registration number MUS 604CG and taken to an unknown destination through the thick forest part of the area.

They were, however, rescued by men of the 9th Mile Division of Enugu State Police Command on Monday about 2.30pm.
Ebere Amaraizu, the spokesman of Enugu State Police Command, confirmed the release of Mikel Obi’s father and his driver.
Amaraizu, a Superintendent of Police, said they were rescued hale and hearty.
He said Pa Michael Obi and the driver have rejoined their families.

Amaraizu stated further: “It was further gathered that the abductors started calling to demand a ransom of N10 million before the operatives acting on intelligence information swooped on them where a gun duel ensued which forced the hoodlums to abandon their victims inside the forest and they were promptly rescued.”
In his reaction, Pa Michael Obi extolled the response and efforts of the police which led to their rescue.
He thanked the Commissioner of Police, Danmallam Mohammed, and his operatives, insisting that he was happy with the operatives’ performance.
“I am alive and healthy. I thank the Commissioner of Police and the police operatives for their efforts which led to our rescue”, Pa Obi said.

At the office of the Commissioner of Police, a team of doctors from the police medical unit was seen conducting medical checks on Pa Michael Obi.

The doctors also confirmed that he was hale and hearty.
Meanwhile, the Enugu State Police Command has appealed to members of the public particularly hospital owners and operators to watch out for anyone with the injury or wound believed to be that of a bullet for prompt necessary action just as a full-scale investigation had commenced into the incident.

The state Commissioner of Police, Danmallam Mohammed applauded the efforts of his operatives and that of the members of the public for their timely and useful information.

Amaraizu added that Michael Obi’s Prado jeep was equally recovered from the hoodlums.

A Soldiers chain man to a motorcycle in Lagos, drag him on street for having a disagreement with a Soldier’s girlfriend

Soldiers chain man to a motorcycle in Lagos, drag him on street for having a disagreement with a Soldier’s girlfriend

Military men in Ikorodu area of Lagos have assaulted a young man in the area over a disagreement with a lady, which has now landed him in a hospital. A disagreement between the girlfriend of a military officer and Saheed, the younger brother of an electronics dealer in Ikorodu area of Lagos State, Lukman Lambo, left him with an injury and a need to undergo a surgery to regain the use of his left eye after he got chained to a motorcycle and got dragged him on the street by soldiers.

Punch reports that Saheed and the lady, identified simply as Dasola, who were lovers and neighbours at Itulubajo Lane, Alhaji Street, Ikorodu, until few weeks ago when they had a money disagreement which strained their relationship.

However their fight started after they went to watch a clash between some residents which occurred around 11am on Saturday, November 11, in the house where Saheed lives and Dasola. It was gathered that Saheed, rebuked the said lady for poking her nose into a situation that did not concern her. At about 5pm on that day, Dasola reportedly led her soldier boyfriend in company with three other soldiers to Saheed’s residence.
The soldiers who didn’t meet Saheed at home, rained blows on Saheed’s elder brother Lukman’s face, handcuffed him to a motorcycle, rode the bike and dragged him on the street. Lukman was left by the soldiers after blood started coming out from his eyes.
“Where Saheed lives is our family house, but I don’t reside there. I went to the house and someone told me that Saheed had a fight with a lady who had gone to call soldiers to beat him up.
The person added that the soldiers might kill him and I asked him why they would kill him, not knowing they were already behind me. They were four in number and three of them were in army uniform without tags. They beat me up and in the process, the one that is befriending the lady hit me on the face. They handcuffed me to a motorcycle and dragged me on the street. People begged them to leave me, but they refused. They should be from Odogunyan barracks. I can identify them if I see them. Doctors at the Ikorodu General Hospital, where I was admitted, said I might have to undergo a surgery. I have spent a lot of money on the eye.”
The case was reported at the Igbogbo Police Station and Dasola was arrested. Saheed explained that a week before the incident, he had taken Dasola to an inn in the community. .
He said after the date, he gave her N1,500, but she rejected it, insisting that she would collect N2,500. Saheed said,
“She later collected the N1,500, but tore my clothes.
Afterwards, she would abuse me whenever she saw me. On Saturday, November 11, my friends fought in our compound and she came. I told her she was nosy. We abused each other and she left and later came back with the soldiers to intimidate me.”
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Olarinde-Famous Cole, confirmed the assault.
He said,
“Investigations commenced after the case was reported. The lady was arrested for conspiring with the soldiers to assault the man. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
“The Divisional Police Officer found out that the suspects were from an army barracks. We have to write to the Nigerian Army to report their conduct and get them identified so that they could be brought to book.”

In Italy, 26 Nigerian girls, women killed at sea buried abroad

The victims that were kill at thesea were buried in Salerno, south of Naples, in Italy on Friday

The 26 Nigerian girls and women who were allegedly sexually abused and murdered while trying to cross the Mediterranean to Europe earlier in November have been buried in Italy on Friday, November 17, 2017.

According to a reporter, Paraic O'Brien, the victims were buried in Salerno, south of Naples, in Italy after autopsies revealed there was no recent trace of physical or sexual violence.

The autopsy revealed that 25 of the victims died of asphyxiation in the water, when the inflatable dinghy they were travelling on sank while the remaining one suffered a wound to her liver.

A white rose was placed on each of the coffins as a day of mourning was declared in Salerno to honour their memory.

Most of the dead victims are teenagers aged 14 to 18 and two of them were pregnant.
Spanish warship, Cantabria, docked at the southern port of Salerno on Sunday, November 5, 2017, carrying 375 survivors and the dead women kept in a refrigerated section of the warship.

The bodies of the victims were recovered from two separate shipwrecks, 23 from one and three from the other, after rescue operations by Cantabria which works as part of the European Union's Sophia anti-trafficking operation.
Italian security authorities have already arrested two men in connection with the deaths.

The two men, named as Al Mabrouc Wisam Harar, from Libya, and Egyptian Mohamed Ali Al Bouzid, have been charged by investigators after they were identified by survivors as the captains of one of the boats where the victims died.

We can’t forget Biafra, Ikedife, Uko, IPOB tell Buhari

Ikedife, Uko, IPOB tell Buhari They can’t forget Biafra,

President of South East Elders Forum, Dr. Dozie Ikedife, a member of the Southern Leaders of Thought, and Secretary, Eastern Consultative Assembly, Evangelist Elliot Ugochukwu Uko, and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have told President Muhammadu Buhari that Biafra remains and can never be forgotten.
President Buhari during a working visit to Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital, on Tuesday, called on the Igbo to forget Biafra, and secession and work towards a united Nigeria.
But speaking with Saturday Sun, Dr. Ikedife said it was a wrong choice of word to say, “we should forget Biafra, nobody can forget Biafra”.
He said: “Somebody had told me before that we should forget Biafra, and I told the person that it was not possible to forget Biafra. It is not possible to forget that you are an Odudua son; it is not possible to forget that you are an Ijaw man; it is not possible to forget that you a Fulani; it is not possible to forget that you are Junkun, etc.
“It is a wrong choice of word to say, forget Biafra. Nobody can forget it. If you lost your father or son, mother or half of your family members during the Nigeria-Biafra war, can you forget that?
“Even the person saying it cannot forget Biafra, talk less of those that are concerned, who are called Biafrans.
“The person may say anything else, but Biafra is unforgettable.
We can never forget Biafra; nobody should ever forget Biafra.
Biafra has come to be, never mind that they removed Bight of Biafra and called it Bight of Benin, there are people who are Biafrans and there is nothing you can do about it, even if you kill them and it remains only one, that person still remains Biafra.”
In the same vein, Evangelist Uko noted that shooting and killing the youths will not stop the agitation, and pointed out that Biafra can never be forgotten.
According to him, “the people advising Buhari are misleading him.  I have been in the centre of the protests by Igbo youth for over a decade, and I know that the solution is engaging them in meaningful dialogue, but some people preferred to shoot them, so I washed my hands off. “I know that they are angry, bitter and very pained about the killing by the soldiers during the invasion of Nnmadi Kanu’s home.
“Those political leaders telling Biafra that the agitation is over are just deceiving and misleading him.
“The boys are angry and the only solution is engaging them in meaningful dialogue, and secondly, embarking on a meaningful restructuring of the country. These are the two solutions.
“I have been talking with the boys for over a decade and they have absolute confidence in me. I know how they feel. Prof Ben Nwabueze and I tried to help the government by bringing them to a meeting, but some people advised the government to halt the dialogue process and embark on shooting them. Shooting and killing them will not stop the agitation. So, Biafra can never be forgotten.”
Also, Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Comrade Emma Powerful, in a statement said telling the Igbo to forget about Biafra tantamounts to telling the sky to hold the rains.
He emphasised: “It is unfortunate that Buhari would make such statement to Ndigbo because he knows that nothing can stop us from leaving Nigeria.
“We are not bothered or worried about what he said, but Biafra independence is unstoppable, unquenchable and irreversible.
“Telling Igbo to forget Biafra is like telling the sky to stop raining. We have stayed in Nigeria for more than 50 years without any benefits, and we are leaving.”

Anti-grafr war: Jail corrupt people in your govt first, Fayose tells Buhari

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, Said to President Buhari Jail corrupt people in your govt first,

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has told President Muhammadu Buhari to stop being hypocritical about his fight against corruption and rid his government of corrupt elements first, saying; “Someone needs to tell the President that Nigerians no longer believe in his anti-corruption fight because he harbours the most corrupt Nigerians in his government.”
President Buhari had said, on Thursday, in Abuja, during the presentation of the book, “Making Steady Sustainable Progress” that any public official caught will go to jail.

Reacting through a statement on Friday, by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose asked; “How many of those indicted of corruption in President Buhari’s government has he jailed? Isn’t it the height of hypocrisy for a President that is using APC broom to sweep corruption involving his men under the carpet to be talking about jailing anyone caught stealing public fund?”
The governor, who insisted that President Buhari was only hiding under anti-corruption fight to harass his perceived political foes, said; “We have a President who is the Life Patron of Corruption in Nigeria. His government is not only corrupt, the government itself is corruption! Sadly, our President is still carrying on with the mindset that Nigerians are still listening to his lyrics of ‘we are fighting corruption.’

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, Said to President Buhari Jail corrupt people in your govt first,

“Today, it is seventeen days since President Buhari sacked the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Babachir Lawal, and the Director General, National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ayodele Oke, has any of them been arrested by the EFCC?
“Apart from sacking Oke, has President Buhari told Nigerians any other thing about the $43 million discovered in the Osbourne Towers, Ikoyi, Lagos apartment? Who owns the apartment?
“What has happened to those involved in the fraudulent reinstatement of the former Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, Mr Abdullahi Maina, who was declared wanted for corrupt practices by the International Police Organisation, (INTERPOL) after he was dismissed from office by the Civil Service Commission in 2013 for allegedly committing N2.1 Billion pension fraud while in office?
“Why hasn’t Maina been arrested by the EFCC up till now?
“When the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Ibe Kachikwu’s alleged that the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC); Dr. Maikanti Baru awarded $25 billion contracts without following due process against and weren’t Buhari’s men the ones defending Baru?

“Isn’t the same Abba Kyari, who was accused of collecting N500 million bribe from MTN still Buhari’s Chief of Staff? Has anything been heard about the $5 billion fine imposed on MTN by the federal government after Abba Kyari allegedly received the N500 million bribe?
“Methinks President Buhari should face the reality that there are people in his government that should be in jail by now for corruption. Not until he jails those corrupt elements that are wining and dining with him, Nigerians will continue to liken his threat to jail anyone who steals pubic fund with a cow thief threatening to jail a fowl thief.”
