This time, we take a look at who the richest rappers are in Nigeria today and their net worth who have dominated the African rap music industry with their punch lines. These artistes income from shows and tours, endorsement deals, Music labels and sales of their albums have seen them win series of awards globally, some as the fastest rappers in Nigeria while others were even rated by Forbes to be among the richest musicians in Nigeria 2017.

For the records, the best rapper in the world currently is Jay Z. Some might argue that it is Kanye west, Drake, Eminem and so on, but the leader of the ROC Nation Record Music label has won so many accolades recently to support this claim. He is also the wealthiest among the list. In Nigeria, the latest list of the richest rappers in the country didn’t pull any surprise as the popular celebrities in the Nigerian music industry still occupied the list.

He tops the list as Nigeria’s undisputed best and richest rapper this 2017. As of writing this piece, Olamide has released six albums in six years since he came to limelight and his first album is still making waves. As Nigeria’s most influential artist, he has featured other rappers like Phyno, Davido, Falz, e.t.c and he is recognized internationally. 2. Phyno

Phyno Obago is the second richest rapper in Nigeria this 2017 and the best Igbo rapper in Nigeria currently, beating the likes of N*gga raw, Slow Dog and other rappers of Igbo descent in Nigeria. One thing that makes him stand out from the rest is his punch lines. Phyno is not just a rapper, the young man can sing very well apart from just rapping. 3. M.I

Previously M.I (Mr Incredible) was known to be the richest Nigerian rapper but his stocks has dropped in recent years in the Nigerian music industry which greatly affected his net worth. Signed to chocolate city, he is one of the best-known artists in Africa. He’s got large number of awards, including MTV Africa Music Award in 2009. He’s taken part in lots of competitions and gained international recognition. 4. Reminisce

He is one of the best and richest Yoruba rappers in Nigeria 2017 and also a songwriter. The indigenous Yourba rapper who is also compared to Da grin deserve more than this spot but trust me this is where he merited to be on the list of the 2017 best and hottest rappers in Nigeria. Reminisce net worth is estimated at $7 million.

5. Falz

You might be wondering while Falz the bahd guy is doing on this list. As of last two years, he was just an upcoming rap artist still finding his feet in the entertainment industry but as it stands now, Falz is the fifth wealthiest rapper in Nigeria currently with an impressive net worth estimated at $4 million. He is not just a rapper but a singer, actor and comedian who really makes a lot of money aside his various endorsement deals.
