On the third spot we have Square Records,ownd by the music duo, Peter and Paul of Okoye family , they are popularly called as P_square. According to them , Peter and Paul they be one no be two . Square Records don’t really have that hype the reason is because they are only twn in the label and haven’t signed any artiste to the label .
The only artiste that they have ever signed to Square Records was Mr May D but it didn’t end well . After some time May D left the label due to some irreconcilable difference. This is another influential music record label in Nigeria that has opened doors for several other  music record label . Chocolate City was founded in 2005 by Lawyer Audu Maikori along with Paul Okeugo and Yahaya Maikori. It operates as a subsidiary of Chocolate City group. Some of the artistes that are currently signed on to the label are MI, Femi Kuti, Ice Prince,Jesse jags, Dj Caise, Pryse, Nosa, Victoria Kimani, Dice Ailes and Koker.

This music label use to be home for singers like Wizkid and Skales before they went on to establish their own record label .Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) is owned by Banky W and Segun Demurin and it currently has artistes like  Banky W (Mr Wellington, Mr Capable ) himself, Shaydee, Niyola and the delectable Dj Xclusive . Wizkid left the label following the release of his second studio album and expiration of his 5 year contracts . 6. HKN Gang/Davido Music World

This label is owned by Davido and it was formally called HKN Gang. This years, Davido rebranded the label and changed it to Davido Music World . He parted ways with B Red and signed new atistes Mayorkun and Dremo . Davido Music World is undoubtedly one of the leading and best record labels in Nigeria today and it more or less like a family label .

7. Star Boy Entertainment

This record label is owned by Young Wizkid and he has signed several artistes to the label including Efya, Mr Eazi, R2Bees and LAX . Sorry ,LAX has left the label sometime this year.
8. Made Men Music Group (M.M.M.G)
The truth is that Iyanya’s Made Men Music Group is suppose to secure the number 6 spot but we all know that Iyanya has left the label as his career was going down the drain . He left the lebel to Join Mavin Record to save his career before it too late . Made Men Music Group  was founded by the duo of Iyanya Mbuk a.k.a Iyanya and his manager, Ubi Franklin. It is home for artiste like Tekno, Emma Nyra, Selebobo, and Baci. At the time of creating this article , Emma Nyra is no longer signed on to the label .

This is another popular and top music record label in Nigeria . You effortlessly recognise their signatory voice when you hear “Five star music” at the beginning of their song.  Five Star Music owned by Kcee’s Billionaire brother E Money .
