Prof. Paul Udofia who was born on January 17, 1962,

Prof. Paul Alexander Udofia  was born on January 17, 1962,He Is  from Ikot Akpan Essien in Abak-Midim clan, Oruk Anam LGA, Udofia was  a lecturer in the Department of Geology,
 Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU).

He has worked variously as the company geologist, Quality Cement (QUACEM) and assistant lecturer, Akwa Ibom State College of Agriculture, Obio Akpa, now a campus of AKSU.

Prof. Paul Alexander Udofia, attended Qua Iboe Church Primary School, Afaha Nsit, Nsit Ibom for his primary education, and Methodist Secondary School, Ete, Ikot Abasi local government area, for his post primary certificate. He proceeded to the University of Calabar (UNICAL), where he obtained a B.Sc degree in Geology in 1990.

In the political scene, Prof. Udofia has also made tremendous strides having served as supervisory councilor for health and social services, Oruk Anam; pioneer leader of the Legislative Council, Oruk Anam; pioneer chapter secretary, National Centre Party of Nigeria (NCPN), and member-elect, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly. Other political offices held in Oruk Anam LGA included; supervisor for works, transport and environment and special adviser, Political and Chieftaincy Affairs.
He also, was a member, Akwa Ibom Peoples Forum (AKPF); member, Godswill/Ekpotu gubernatorial campaign committee, Oruk Anam chapter; member, PDP state screening committee and chapter executive officer, Akwa Ibom Consolidated Alliance (ACA), Oruk Anam Chapter.


Prof. Paul Alexander Udofia is happily married with children.
